Critic reviews
"The 2024 Clos Haut-Peyraguey has a well-defined nose that lacks the complexity of some of its peers. Wild honey, quince and light almond scents unfold in the glass. The palate is fresh and clinical on the entry, with apricot mixed with notes of tangerine, although I would like to see more nuance on the slightly short yet refreshing finish."

"The 2024 Clos Haut-Peyraguey is the result of three picks from September 19 to October 16, with most of the fruit coming from the middle pick. Readers will find a heady, dense Sauternes with a distinctly structural, almost tannic feel. The 130 grams of residual sugar are very nicely integrated into the wine's frame. Apricot, chamomile, spice, pineapple, passion fruit and a kiss of French oak linger on the imposing finish. Superb. Tasted three times."

"A delicious, textural and charming Sauternes with baked-lemon and baked-peach aromas. It’s medium-bodied with a relaxed stream of sweet apricots on the palate. Long and fresh finish."
James Suckling, May 2025, JamesSuckling.com
"Engaging and impressively construcgted, this shows delicately placed stone fruits, enjoyably supple, with marmalade and lemon peel, not overly rich instead giving fennel and chicory herbs on the finish. Love it. 90% fermented and aged in barrel, 33% new oak, harvest September 19 to October 16, 14hl/h yield."

"Straw colour. Sweet but zesty with citrus and marmalade notes. Lots of freshness but botrytis evident as well. Clean finish."
