"The 2024 Dame de Trotte Vieille, raised in one-third new oak, has a light bouquet with touches of loamy earth filtering through the black fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins. It feels quite cohesive, with a light frame of tannins moving towards more red fruit at the slightly attenuated finish. Not a powerful Deuxième Vin, but it should fill out a little in barrel."
