"Chalky tannins that slowly but surely build in power and grip. Batailley is an estate that manages to seek out the heart of Pauillac in any vintage, and although Lions is leaning into a leaner, more fragrant version of Cabernet Sauvignon, the chalk, slate, crayon and mint still give it appellation character."
