"Opening to a mildly copper-tinged appearance, the Vie di Romans 2022 Friuli Isonzo Pinot Grigio Dessimis rests on the lees in barrique for nine months to produce extra textural richness and softness. This wine offers a very pretty bouquet with elegant hints of grapefruit, Pink Lady apple and dragon fruit. There is a hint of the exotic, but it remains very mild. In all, I would describe this as a classic Friuli Pinot Grigio profile. Production is 66,000 bottles."

"The 2022 Pinot Grigio Dessimis is delicately floral in the glass, boasting a coppery-orange color. Dried apricots, almond paste, peaches and lifting hints of mint form its bouquet. The palate is soft and enveloping, nearly juicy in feel, with ripe orchard fruits balanced by brisk acidity and tactile mineral tones. The 2022 finishes long, staining and lightly structured, with lingering nectarine and spice nuances."

"A pale pink pinot grigio with quite exotic notes of fruit, peach tea, pepper, spices and minerals. Firm acidity on the palate, with a medium body and a tight, savory aftertaste. Drink now. "
