"The 2023 Dauzac is a racy, heady wine. Although by no means the last word in complexity, Dauzac offers plenty of immediacy and overall appeal. Red/purplish-hued fruit, spice and floral notes open effortlessly. Dauzac is pretty intense texturally but not overdone, as it was a few years ago. It's a stylish Margaux to enjoy over the next 15-20 years."

"Chewy tannins, liqourice, fennel, aniseed, chewy tannins, good push and pull, rises on the finish, juice underneath the construction, blueberry and rasppery fruits, a construction and texture than keeps you engaged, and slate texture to the tannins. Good stuff, one to look out for, an exceptional vintage at this estate. 90% French oak barrels for ageing, 65% new, 10% in amphora. 35hl/ha yields."

"A solid and very energetic young red with aromas of blackcurrant and lemon peel. Medium-bodied with density and intensity of firm tannins and acidity. Racy and classic in many ways."
