Bordeaux 2023 En Primeur:
Other Right Bank
Like the more affordable end of the left bank, it was slightly more hit-and-miss on the right. Joanin-Becot from Castillon was in excellent form again. Juliette Bécot really is making some excellent wine here. My staple, Château Marsau, was terribly hit by mildew on account of their biodynamic philosophy, so they are not releasing what little they have of 2023, but their wonderful 2022 is still available (95-96 JS), as well as a little parcel of 2016 which is a staple in my household at the moment.
